Award-Winning Author Matt Mikalatos Explores 40 Beloved Stories in Scripture—from Creation and David and Goliath to the Resurrection—Through the Eyes of the Curious

WaterBrook is thrilled to introduce the captivating new graphic novel God With Us: Bible Stories on the Road to Emmaus (WaterBrook/Penguin Random House; release date 4/1/25) skillfully written by award-winning author Matt Mikalatos and wonderfully illustrated by David Shephard. 

Arriving a few weeks before Easter, God with Us will help readers young and old follow God’s story of love, hope, and rescue from Genesis to the Gospels—through 40 stories told by Jesus himself.
